Burrs are the heart of every coffee grinder. After years of daily grinding, steel dulls, cutting edges lose their sharpness. Beans get crushed rather than cut, producing more fines -- and flavor loses its clarity. That is when the Ode needs a new heart.
Remove the hopper. Remove the grind adjustment ring. Carefully extract the old burrs and seat the new ones in the correct orientation. Orientation matters -- install backwards and the burrs will not cut. The video walks through each step, including how to identify the correct direction.
Order replacement burrs through Blagu. Do not forget to recalibrate after installation -- every new burr set needs its zero point established.
